I ordered this Razer wrist rest alongside another with a more office or productivity-focused rest (from Kensington). When comparing the two rests side-by side, the construction of the Razer is noticeably lower quality. The foam and base materials are both noticeably stiffer, and the whole setup seems flimsy. Worse, the Kensington was actually cheaper than the Razer, but was clearly superior. I bought this to give Razer a chance to live up to their name, and they really fall short here. The wrist rest does, technically, work, but unless you're dead set on matching your Razer gaming setup do your wrist a favor and get something else.

4.0 out of 5 stars Razer Wrist Rest: Wrath of the front angle.
By Kendall Tisinger on September 14, 2020

As usual, Razer never shies away from stepping up to the plate when it comes to things that it thinks the community would like, and this product is a reiteration of that point. As a wrist rest, I like it. It has a soft pleather texture and a very foamy inside that doesn't heat up when I use it and the foam is very economic to my meat mit hands. It's pretty comfy and I like using it, but not on my Blackwidow so much.

Let me explain. The Blackwidow essential edition keyboard I own has an angled edge on the front of the keyboard, which is aesthetically pleasing to me, but the wrist rest has an angled edge as well at the same exact angle when I use the keyboard's feet at max height, which means that the wrist rest constantly rides up onto the keyboard and is kind of annoying. The non-slip rubber pads, while helpful, aren't exactly no-slip and they also move around on my desk. I tested the no-slip pads on multiple surfaces and the only surfaces that were really no-slip were glass and sheet metal. I need a wrist rest for my keyboard because I have carpal tunnel, and I looked around and the ones I found on Amazon didn't match the dimensions of my keyboard. Razer was not my first choice, to be honest. It was only when I was looking at Razer products to buy for my friend for his birthday when I noticed that this existed.

TL;DR. It's a good wrist rest but the angle that my keyboard has doesn't really go well with the rest.

I have carpal tunnel, this wrist rest works but it's not extremely comfortable. I only bought it because it is a Razer product and I was trying to add to my collection. Got it for $9.99 but I'm sure Razer is making these for $2 tops. Not an extremely nice product, it's OKAY at best. It came a little bit curved which makes it unstable on flat surfaces, it also has barely any cushioning product in it so it's still putting a fair amount of pressure on your tendons. To be honest, I'm sure you could find an off brand wrist rest that is $10 and much more comfortable - I wouldn't pay more than 5$ for this thing. Disappointed in Razer for even making such a cheap and unusable product, but they do that with some of their mice - so it's not a complete surprise.

The photos are taken with a EC2-A mouse and hand for comparison.
EC2-A dimensions: L:4.7/W:2.6/H:1.6 inches
Hand dimensions: W:3.9/L:7.4 inches
How I measured my hand:
- Width is measured from thumb knuckle to other side of palm.
- Length is measured from tip of middle finger to the bottom of the palm.

Review:
I've tried a wrist rest in the past and honestly hated it, felt awkward, smelt bad after week and just stopped using it.
I know this is $18 and seems ridiculous but I was desperate as I started to have severe pain in my palm from claw/fingertip grip and went two days without being able to be on my computer.
This literally just arrive an hour ago, the first time I put my wrist on this it felt perfect. I was worried about the height or material being to squishy or too firm as well how it would feel against my skin as I deal with nerve pain and anything can be painful.

Pro
1. Perfect height
2. Perfect firmness
3. Material feels great

Con
1. Price

I feel confident in suggesting this to someone that is looking for pain relief or simply to take care of your wrist. You will be able to continue gaming with this for all mouse grips, with the exception of "flick shooting" that uses your whole arm like CS:GO, I doubt you would even look at a wrist rest.

Got this wrist pad for a new full size and rather large mechanical keyboard, Thermaltake Level 20. Back in the old days I use to use the 3M gel wrist pads. I was looking for something new. Razer is a good gaming brand and purchased this based on the reviews. The "cooling gel infused" sounded like a gimmick. But there is some truth. Every time I use it for the first time, it does feel cool to the touch. It's a nicely built item. Has a sturdy plastic base with rubber feet. Construction feels solid, doesn't feel cheap. It is also angled which I think helps with ergo. The old, early days gel wrist were not angled and sat flat. There is an embossed Razer logo located in the middle of the pad but it's not visible. You can feel it so it may bother some people looking for a continuous smooth feeling. The only issue I have with it is that the material on top of the pad sometimes develop wrinkles that I have to smooth out every so often. It almost seems like air bubbles or something develop on the the pad. They do go away after you put some effort to smooth them out. I don't know if this will become an issue over time. Overall, I think it's a good item. It is expensive for a wrist pad.

Bought this to replace the rest that came with my Razer eXactMat - they either stopped or never sold exact (pardon the pun) replacements and after years and years it was just too grungy to save, in fact it started falling apart when I tried to clean it.
This replacement is a good size and is well made and comfortable to use. My issue is it is so light it moves easily and the grippy surface on the bottom isn't "tacky" enough to keep it in place. I'm constantly knocking it off my desk. I'm getting to the point I may Velcro it down, which would be kind of annoying but not as bad as always trying to find it on the floor under my chair.
Other than that, it's great.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not as advertised.

This product is advertised as ''plush leatherette memory foam wrist rest''. It is absolutely not this.
It is simply a hard foam sponge made of cheap fabric with little to no comfort.

I bought this product expecting it to be the same as the keyboard wrist rests that razer do (which are really good) - just a smaller version and for a mouse rather than keyboard; and judging by the product description I assumed that is what I would get.....
I was really disappointed when I opened this up to find it to be nothing as described. Nevertheless I gave it a go and after a few hours of use, my wrist was killing me. An awful cheap feeling product. Please do not buy this. You'd be better off buying the razer keyboard wrest and using that instead as an extended mouse wrest.

1.0 out of 5 stars Hard to believe it's actually a Razer product

The build quality of the item is so underwhelming, and it is seriously hard to believe Razer made this. Awful foam material instead of leatherette advertised (which is only on the base), nothing at all like the comfort you get from the Razer keyboard rests. It's like ordering a pie and finding out it has no filling.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the wait

I originally bought a smaller rest and whilst it did the job it required that I always reached for the mouse at the same position and angle. During gaming I often found that my wrist wasn't exactly on it. So I searched for wider rests and found this one. It was only available from Amazon US so I had to wait, but it was very much worth it.

At the risk of sounding like a pervert. My wrists have never felt better! the cushioning is great, and it feels like a high quality material- i like the size/length of it as i can move my mouse range around a bit more

5.0 out of 5 stars It's good but it could be improved

It is what I expected, comfortable and fairly long.

Only drawback I would say is, that it has the tendency to move away since the base has no rubber feet
